So, when will cassette tapes be back in style?

Never.  That format really did not stand the test of time.  CDs tore through that format like hot butter.  And good luck convincing any electronics company to make cassette players.

In the early 80s I had a computer, called Timex/Sinclair ZX81, that used cassettes to program it with BASIC, which I was learning at the time.

A few years ago we bought a mid 90s manufactured Nakamichi DR-1 cassette deck for digitizing some oral history recordings. We sold it on Facebook market place a few months ago for $1000. About what we paid for it. There may not be a market for new ones, but there is a healthy market for higher end used ones. Same goes for nice 1/4" reel to reel machines. I have one of those sitting on the desk behind me now that I listen to on a regular basis.

New pope.  I bit more into french fries and herring than typical for Popes, but likes to sit, doesn't say anything weird politically, and doesn't have a criminal record, so silver linings.

Weird how the word "pope" means "papa," as in father, when Jesus said (Matthew 23:9) not to call any man on this world father! And what are all of those priests called?

Simple, the F isn't capitalized in "papa".
