Warship out of SoCal, pulled into the RN base in Singapore. The local hustlers have rack after rack of pirated tapes for sale on the pier. (Local bosses got their cut of the action.) Tapes that hadn't hit the street yet in the US are on sale for the equivalent of $1.00 U$D. I still had an 8 track player at the time.

I used to prefer online shopping, but I've switched back to mostly brick-and-mortar because of...events.  Unless it's some rare item that's only realistically available online.
