Pfft. Wait till you get to be friends with some of them. It's not bad. I have people I go to festivals, concerts with in dreams... Dinner parties. Few days ago, I've been to a class union. Exhausting. Too crowded, and too loud.

This is not a joke by the way. My dreams are so vivid, so frequent and continous, before getting a 'severe ADHD' diagnosis, I haven't even talked about them. Because it sounded crazy. It still does. Because it is.

I can confirm that this was a real thing.  Probably not the best idea in the world, but we at least didn't have any abandoned refrigerators to get locked into.  It was nice to have a small amount of latitude in an otherwise rigid world.  But we probably should've been checked up on long before 10pm.

The way I see it, the perimeter guards see the most combat and they're usually victorious because they mostly encounter the unworthy or unprepared.  And the elites in the deepest part of the dungeon see the least combat but the battles are close and could go either way.  It's the second-stringers who get screwed - they're the ones least likely to survive a fight.  They only see combat after the perimeter guards have been defeated but they lack the skills the elites have to even the odds.

Well, because people were outside more, that meant more eyes watching. Now that people are staying inside, it's much easier for someone to snatch an unattended child without any witnesses. By keeping our kids in where it's safe, we've ironically made it more dangerous for them.

I would watch a Star Wars nature show and also a very literal Parts Unknown type show (literal both senses - the source of the meat used in the food may be a mystery and/or the planet itself may be unknown to the wider galaxy - looking at you, Thrawn)

Bonus points if we get blue milk (affectionately known as bilk), Leia cinnamon buns, Imperial food rations (specifically, yellow biscuits), or literally anything having to do with eggs (so long as both the jawas and Grogu are kept at a table far, far away)
