As a Catholic I can do what ever I can, lie, cheat and steal, and be forgiven so I don't feel guilty.  Solitary

I refuse to believe that anyone can truly enjoy anything that Kirk Cameron is affiliated with.

I think this one's been said a couple of times, but still its a long list.

59. It's best not to be an atheist because then you do not have to contend with the horror of being part of a more intellectual minority at the complete mercy of people who feel entitled to segregate people, disrupt the world's ecosystem in the name of profit, start needless wars, purposefully force people to believe they are sick (sin) and need a cure (forgiveness), and adopt the "if it feels right, then it must be right" mentality.

60. Another reason to not be an atheist is so you do not risk losing your job because a Christian business feels they can exercise their religious rights to deprive another person of their livelihood in the name of personal comfort.

61. If you are not an atheist, you can run for political office where the mindless majority will be more inclined to elect you to positions of power so long as you put on a very "Christian" front.

62. Don't want to be an atheist if you are part of a Christian family. It is not unheard of for Christians who profess their religion encourages love and tolerance to disown family members who are no longer part of the Christian faith.

63. You do not want to be an atheist if you are in a theocracy where they will kill you for not being part of the faith.

64. Very bad being an atheist if you move into a small, predominately Christian town - especially in the south. In the name of love and tolerance, your Christian neighbours will slash your tires, paint graffiti on your house, refuse service to you in the local stores, bar you from civic functions, refuse to let their kids near you, and harass you with the intention of getting you to leave town.

65. Best not be an atheist, since Christians who fail to understand critical thinking, logic, and tolerance will try to argue with you using regurgitated arguments that have been refuted for up to 100 years, employ fallacious arguments (staw man, appeal to emotion, argumentum ad populum, no true scotsman, argumentum ad hominem, argumentum ad baculum, argumentum ad ignoratium, argument ad verecundiam, appeal to pity - just to name a few), say atrocious things to you, enjoy the thought of you being tortured for all eternity, and will harass you on websites intended to be calm relaxing place away from the incessant rude behaviour of the Christian majority.

So you don't have to give your poor old grandfather who is a devout catholic a heart attack. He's now 89. And still doesn't know the truth.

Only if they find out.  Which is actually pretty likely when you get handed religious literature, peppered with questions about which church you go to (a question which seems to be missing its perquisite), or get drawn into the latest tirade about homo jew demacrits and the coming apocalypse.

Ah but isn't is said in the gospel of John verse 8:32 "the truth shall set you free". I'd say go ahead and tell,it's what the bible says.

Sorry for the gospel but I strongly disagree. Some times it's better to let others live in blissful ignorance rather than make a poor old man who isn't going to change his belief systems now worry that his grand daughter will be going to hell. It'd probably put my grandfather in the grave if he found out I was an atheist.

even if he is a christian I still love him to pieces and I don't want to be the one to break his heart or kill him.

its ok I was using sarcasm ^^

Its more in irony then anything that the bible teaches that you should be completely honest and true, when the very concept of the truth is lost given the bible is what it is.
