Morning people should be divided into two categories. The first and of course the most valuable category includes the people, who can get up very early, work efficiently and get things done through the day because of the very reason they do get up very early. They don't like to talk, smile and answer questions or in any way interact with people in said hours, sometimes even after they ate. The second category includes the people, who smiles, talks, greets others, often times even make jokes and seem to be enthusiastic about everything around. Obviously, they are expandable, and they should be slapped on the forehead.

I am included in the first category...duh! And I motion (I'm not sure if it is phrased like this) that this to be the official division, and people be treated accordingly.

I wake up between 4 and 5 am every day. The cats are fed and the tea pot is cocked-and-locked so Boss Lady only has to push a button. Being retired USN I'm used to odd hours, twenty years of ♫hit the deck a'run boys and spin those guns around♫ can be habit forming.

I have heard so as well, several times....though personally, I'm not willing to verify first hand...

Zoo keepers routinely keep gator's jaws closed when they take them in hand. They close the crocodilian jaws with duct tape. Two turns is generally enough. I don't know anyone who is brave enough to not take a couple of extra turns. (I volunteer at the St. Louis Zoo. They know I'm crazy so I get chances to prove it.)
