I suspect there won't be any mid-terms. I really hope I'm wrong.

With how brazenly Republicans have shut down the government, just to avoid their boss being exposed with the Epstein files, TWICE, I wouldn't put it past them. Somehow, the Epstein files are a "Democrat hoax." Not because the facts are wrong, but because Democrats care about them. Umm... That's not what a hoax is?

They're trying to portray leftists as domestic terrorists, because some MAGA kid murdered someone. Nothing makes sense. They're grabbing for power, and they're not even trying to hide it.

The Republicans don't want to govern, they want to rule.

Trump's lying mouthpiece says "he works literally 24/7"! 🤣

In that embarrassing fiasco at the U.N., Trump actually does get one thing right - the individual carbon footprint is BS.  It's an attempt by polluting industries to shift the blame onto individual consumers instead of massive corporations with equally massive contributions to climate change.

You and I and other hoi polloi can't even properly conceptualize the sheer scale of environmental devastation waged by these corporations.  Sure, it's nice to help out any way you can, but it's like putting out a housefire at the edge of a forest fire.  Putting out the housefire is nice, but if you don't touch the forest fire, everything's still going to go up in flames.

As for Trump's other points, I mean, the guy is just factually wrong and you can go point by point on it if you're masochistic enough.  The fact is, this blue blood got triggered by a "windmill" near his golf course and now he lectures us about energy policy like he knows everything about it - but he doesn't know anything about anything.  It's just hot air.  And frankly, anyone who still hangs on his words like they're some sort of gospel needs to step away from the cult, touch some grass, and get a grip.

If only there were a document, written by Trump's employees and loyalists, detailing how he intended to strip American citizens of their rights and consolidate power for himself. If such a document were widely distributed, and easily available online prior to the election, giving Americans no excuse to not know exact what to expect, there's no way Trump could have won. /s

Sorry, but I said at the beginning of this mess that I wouldn't make myself a martyr. I'm not going to any rallies, just to get beaten, pepper sprayed, tear gassed, and arrested by Trump's secret police. I've washed my hands of it. Let the idiots who voted for this bleed to get their rights back.

The US government has warned Americans not to travel to Venezuela. Is the dog about to be wagged?

Yeah, but then some guy online said that there's no link between Trump and the Project 2025 people and said it in a kinda pissy way, like it struck some sort of nerve and then just kinda played dumb, but not dumb in a normal way, like a literally unbelievable amount of dumb and then changed the subject to P. Diddy or something.  That really threw me off the scent. /s

Then, when Trump went full mask off like he's at a presidential debate with covid and no longer distances himself from the Project 2025 people who just happen to serve in his regime, I was like "Whoa!"  Caught completely by surprise like people at checkout paying higher prices partly due to massive tariffs.  Who could've guessed some guy with weirdly cultish ideas about Trump and white nationalism would steer me in a factually wrong direction?

Voters: "Alright! Trump is gonna fix the economy by putting tarrifs on everything!"

After the election: "Google, how do tarrifs work? ...Oh. Oh, no. Oh fuck."

"If you don't like what I'm saying you can leave the room.  Of course there goes your rank and your future."

What a disturbing statement from a man that happens to be our president. Of all the things I'm happy about, not voting for this disaster is one of those things.

Do you guys know about bad things are with the Republicans when MTG is the voice of reason?
