I feel much better now that I've had my Kimmel fix! I hope Trump has learned a lesson from this little episode! 🤣

Unfortunately, even though Trump wasn't completely successful (he should be used to that by now) he did cancel Colbert and temporarily cancelled Kimmel for basically BS reasons.  So expect to see these sorts of grasping at straws again.

And regular Americans were also unfortunately somewhat under threat if they didn't publically mourn a fascist who in life wasn't at all bothered by the sorts of murders that he eventually experienced himself.  Exhibit A

Outright authoritarian censorship is still alive and well: Trump got triggered by the historical fact of slavery here in the US and somehow was allowed to change the exhibits to be more in line with his backwards reality-denying ideology.

I'm sure the neo-Nazis love Trump.

They made the mistake of doing this out in the open, on a goddamn podcast. Behind closed doors, they had more success with Colbert. It's because of all the damn mergers. The fewer media companies there are, the more easily they're strongarmed into cooperation with a fascist.

Vainly begot, and yet forbidden vanity,

Instead of "billionaires," can we go back to calling them "robber barons"?

Jimmy killed it. Look it up anywhere on any channel you want and Jimmy killed it.

Heart felt and wonderfully done.

Trump can't seem to correctly pronounce "acetaminophen." But everyone knows that it's pronounced "ASS-e-TOM-in-OFF-en."

The rapture after the rapture are the bestest of the raptures.  Or something something.

Nobody

Apparently, the Rapture was ruptured.

Secrets-leaker Hegseth sets up enormous meeting with unknown purpose

I'm surprised Trump didn't bandage his ear after that horrific escalator incident!

Yes, truly a national tragedy.  I've long noticed something about Trump - if it hurts or even inconveniences him, it's a super big deal and drastic action must be taken right away, but if other people suffer and die, it's no biggie and you should move on quickly.  Nobel Prize winner mentality for sure.

US to prop up Argentina during its economic crisis

Its head of state, Milei, is engulfed in corruption scandals (as well as a crypto scheme) and is a big fan of Trump.

QuoteThe US's sudden love for Argentina's economy "doesn't make any sense from a realist, strategic perspective," Nate Schenkkan, an independent international relations expert, said in an interview. "This kind of stuff only really makes sense within an ideological framework."

The administration is supporting Milei for the same reason they're supporting Victor Orbán of Hungary or Jair Bolsanaro of Brazil, Schenkkan says. "They want to see these people come into power. They think, 'These are our people, let's use the tools we have to support them.'"

Just fyi, the US national debt hit $37 trillion this year with no signs of slowing.  It's now increasing by $1 trillion every 5 months or so.
