Does anyone play Drakensang Online? I just discovered it.  :-D

I played for a few hours. A boring isometric MMO, tbh. There are far better browser-based MMOs out there.

Well, I made a ranger to 18th and a mage to 12th just to try it. It wasn't so bad. But well yes gets old fast.

Which ones are better for example?

RuneScape is much better, for starters. Although RuneScape isn't on the top of the list anymore, I'd definitely recommend that one - I've been playing RuneScape since 2005, with a few breaks inbetween.

Others that I've heard good things about, but not tried myself are Spiral Knights, Puzzle Pirates and Battlestar Galactica. Although that's 2nd hand knowledge.

Has anyone played the Killzone series? I have just watched an hours worth of story on it, and I have to say... it is one of my favourite stories in video gaming. I am just wondering how gameplay wise it is. Definitely going to be one of the first games I pick up when I get a ps4.

Got to play some of the Dark Souls II beta tonight. They took the basics of Dark Souls and added a ton to it. For instance, you can now properly dual-wield (the offhand has its own move set now), cast hexes (a whole new line of magic - seems to be based on the Dark Souls humanity spells), carry 3 main and offhand weapons, lose a little bit of health each time you die (refreshed when you return to human form) and most importantly you can be invaded as a human and an undead.

Also - the AI has been improved (backstab fishing counters) and there are all new covenants. One of the covenants entire purpose is to back up other people who are invaded by red phantoms.

A Quarian would be cool, I always thought they'd be awesome hackers. Even worked on an rpg with my friends and made them expert technicians

But an Asari, I don't know, I was never big on biotics and you KNOW they'll be biotic mastered.

Oh and out of the blue here, but you know what the most OP class of ME3 is? A damn sniper with cryo ammo and the Valiant. Everything dies

I played Killzone 2. I got it bundled with my PS3 years ago.
It was a breathtakingly good game when it came out, the graphics were insane at the time, shafts of light, fully detailed reflections etc. etc.

The gameplay was good, and very challenging on higher difficulties and on multiplayer.
On every CoD game I've owned my K/D was between 1.5-2.6 and I got shot to pieces for quite a long time before I started to get the hang of the multiplayer.

I do not know how good killzone 3 was. Drifted away from gaming slowly of late, all I do now is play very occasional rounds of CSS but even then I get bored quickly. I just have so much else on my plate right now.

The  Wii U ( or Wii eww) will get raped this holiday season by the playstation 4 and Xbox One .

I took a break from replaying Demon's Souls and noticed that I'd been sitting on a Hearthstone beta key for a couple of weeks. I played a few trading card games years ago and so far I like Hearthstone more than any of them.

I was going to wait until the price drop, but with my luck, I'll probably miss it. I'll either break down and get it before the price drop, or they will come out with mk2 PS4 and the price will be the same.... #-o
