Oh I loved the rogue, always had enough action, but enough tactics for me to love it.  Not like post-patch mage. (LOLZ I KILL YA WITH FIAZ *proceed to faceroll*)

I also liked tanking, but I found myself getting chomped to death by giant spiders more often than not.

I am enjoying the golf on GTA: Online way too much.

Also, the Wii in general sucked, so the fact that they added to it does not surprise me that it still, in truth, sucks.

I thought the same with the regular Wii, but it sold pretty well for the casual market I guess. The problem with the Wii U is that it just do much of anything new.

I was at the Nintedo booth at comic con yesterday. The new donkey kong and super mario 3d world is awesome. I probably would get a wii u just for those games. Plus super smash bro's in a nintendo exclusive. so wii u may or may not be in my future.

Plus, I also got to preview dungeon defenders 2. that is going to be pretty awesome when it comes out

The original wii sold like crazy . Sadly the wii  fad is over. The current wii u sales are horrible.

Nintendo games are awesome but the wii u is overpriced. I might get one with another price drop .

the last Nintendo system I loved was the N64, which at the time was the best system I had ever played, hell it still works and I find myself playing it a couple times a year.

Game cube was good, but the games weren't that great

Wii had a lot of hype, but ultimately didn't have that many games and lost popularity.

Wii Sucks

combine that with Nintendo sticking with Pokémon Zelda and Mario, they're just not making new feeling games, nor rpgs or fps to note, none that sold well anyway. And I loive Zelda and Mario, but you can't bank a whole console on one or two series anymore.

Nintendo is hurting on everything except for mobile, their mobile department takes the cake

Yea. It is overpriced. I was going to wait for a price drop as well.

I think the first wii DEFINATELY sucked, but I think that is mostly because they just didn't know how to make games to fit the new technology... the wii-mote and nunchuck... They came up with a lot of experimental games that surely didn't get taken seriously. I think they got thier act together with the new one though. What I think is they are just having a tough time recovering from the last wii. The new one seems too much of the same thing, but in reality they needed to re- do it to get the performance they needed.

That is my thought at least.

Nonsensei

I got into the Hearthstone beta.

The game itself is fun, but the pricing model is really severe.

Heres a post about my thoughts on the issue, disliked into oblivion by the ubiquitous Blizzard fanboys.

QuoteSo its 3 wins for ten gold.

Its 150 gold for one arena run.

I guess the daily will give you 40 gold.

So its 33 wins plus your quest completed to earn a single arena run.

I don't know other player's experiences, but my games usually take at least fifteen minutes. Maybe its quick if i totally dominate, but that rarely happens.

So thats 8 hours and 15 minutes in play mode to earn a single arena run.

But wait, thats only if you win 33 games in a row. What if you only win 50% of the time? Now we are looking at 16 hours and 30 minutes.

For one arena run. One! that seems like a very harsh grind, and makes me personally feel very pressured to just pay up. I had hoped for something a bit less severe. I like the pay mechanics in my F2P games to be a bit less overbearing.

And yes, I know arena itself if theoretically supposed to give you gold too, but honestly ive arena'd 4 times. The best I've managed to do was 6-3 and for that i got like 100 dust and a pack. So relying on gold from arena runs is very questionable since you have no real control over the cards you are given, who you are matched up with, or even what reward you are given when you finally finish. Not everyone is Trump. Not everyone can make it to 9 with a toothpick and some masking tape.
And on the wings of a dream so far beyond reality
All alone in desperation now the time has come
Lost inside you'll never find, lost within my own mind
Day after day this misery must go on

Not interested if its the type of game that has lots of cutscenes. But i love games, i am currently replaying "Sonic Adventure 1". Plan to play "Tomb Raider 3" later. But it's nice that there are games for everyone :D

Same.  Every now and then is fine, to transition between scenes or to mark the end of a campaign, but when it interrupts gameplay, it's the equivalent of interrupting someone's gladiatorial bout, strapping them to a chair, and showing them a movie trailer about gladiators.  No me gusta.

What about games like Beyond: Two Souls, which is almost fully cut-scene and is more about story than actual game play?

Those are for the most part either complete failures, or rare gems of art. I can't come to think of any cut-scene game that wasn't a complete failure though.
