Which is better?  Consistent, incremental success?  Or rare but earthshaking breakthroughs?

Born under one law, to another bound;
Vainly begot, and yet forbidden vanity,
Created sick, commanded to be sound."

"his philosophy was a mixture of three famous schools -the cynics, the stoics and the epicureans-and summed up all three of them in his famous phrase, 'you can't trust any bugger further than you can throw him, and there's nothing you can do about it, so let's have a drink.'" terry pratchett

Writers are just jealous that singers can entertain someone with 200 words when they can't do it with 20,000.

20000? Where did you find a good story with that vocabulary? I mean, unless, it's one of the greats, which is few lol.

Ursula Le Guin wrote around with 85000 vocabulary.

Oof.  Reminds me of that dum-dum on Twitter who confidently asserted that Stephen King hadn't even read The Stand.

That's why the internet is bad. IRL, dum-dums like that would just be ignored. On the internet, they have a platform and other dum-dums find out they aren't the only one and we have to deal with their bullshit.

We 'new atheists' have a reputation for being militant, but make no mistake  we didn't start this war. If you want to place blame put it on the the religious zealots who have been poisoning the minds of the  young for a long long time."

I was going to do a mash up, multiple furries in Hell, but then I realized I was repeating a very popular trope.

I've heard it argued that the main problem with the internet now is that there are too many people on it. It used to be a place for nerds. Now everyone is on it, even down to the technologically challenged grandpa, who can't recognize obvious AI art when he sees it. I don't know if I'd agree that it's the main problem, but it definitely feels different than when I was a kid.

It was a much nicer place when it was more of a privilege to be there.  A certain amount of courtesy was assumed and people wouldn't give you the time of day if you were a douche canoe.

Now, the base expectations are basically nonexistent, there's a lot less fear of being shunned, and there are plenty of tools in place to actively aid being as non-humane as possible and plenty of communities that'll reward you for it.  And with the proliferation of bots/AI, there's actually less of a human connection now than ever.

Hand is too big.  Nose is too small.  Also, not neon orange enough.  And it has to be caked on like a clown mask or his followers won't recognize him.

Actually, that's a baby hand.
