This is good. 

'Kafkaesque' lol. I think it was in The Castle. Kafka describes a few men watching a woman walking up to a slope. They are specifically staring at her hips. It's supposed to be erotic, I guess. Well, I didn't get it at first, because I didn't know that word in turkish when I was reading the book. The translation was old, it was pretty good, but that Turkish word was often used for horses in the new style. I was 19 or so I guess. It confused me more because it was so simple a thing and of course the effect was spoiled by my limited vocabulary. I just remembered that. And when I looked it up a few mins ago reacting to this, 'general definition' gives 'ridge' as geographical element. LOOL
