Unfortunately, christians "forget" that the biblical prophecy states Jesus will be unattractive: "no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him" (Isaiah 53:2). The earliest depictions of Jesus (2nd to 4th centuries) by his cult members are true to this. He often has short curly hair, (sometimes with a Roman bowl cut) is clean shaven and is typically depicted as a Shepard.

Note that altered versions of Josephus's historical work,The Jewish War, even describes Jesus as a very short hunchback with a unibrow, LOL. This was simply to fulfil the prophesy. Christians were constantly altering texts to say what they wanted to say at the time.

I am very aware of the mental gymnastics that apologists use to rewrite whatever they feel they need to. Such intellectual dishonesty.
