Just beat Fallout 4 with the Brotherhood of Steel.  It was fun but also kind of anticlimactic.  I expected some sort of boss battle.

Also, Curie really upended my stance on Synths.

I've finished FO 4 with all of them--Brotherhood, Father, Railroad and Minute Men.  My fav is to play as a MM, and take each of the others to just the right point, while killing Father.  Then, all of the factions get along and I can do the radial quests from each faction--forever, I guess.  I am wondering how Far Harbor will effect that balance, or if it even will.

That's one hell of a GPU, congrats.  What exactly are you planning on playing on it?

Right now it's nothing too fascinating!

Overwatch , Diablo 3, Rocket League, Starcraft II when I get back to it, WoW here and there

I will be looking in to some more power hungry games soon :-).  For all the underwhelming games, there's always Dynamic Super Resolution!

DSR?  I'm not familiar with that term.

Animations by an artist I've followed on Y-gallery called Grisser, I was surprised he was able to get the game made and had his own art implemented in it, but the end product looks pretty good.

Dem biceps.  Looks like someone made Altered Beast into a tactical RPG.  Not my cup of tea, but it looks good.

I loved altered beasts, the original.

I've been playing the Stars mod for Sins of a Solar Empire.  It's like playing chess except all the pieces can move in any direction, you have to say a koan while capturing a piece, and there are fireballs.  It looks amazing but it annihilates all my old strategies and it's frustratingly difficult to adapt to these new rules.

Just got Attila Total War and the new Sins of a Solar Empire DLC.

It came as quite a shock that Sins even has new DLC considering that the last expansion came out 4 years ago.  And you know what, it's great!

Basically, here's how the game works:  your empire controls a planet and so does your enemy.  You build a fleet and start conquering new planets, seizing them from the local militia fleet guarding them.  Then you eventually come into contact with the enemy and pummel each other until someone comes out on top.

This new DLC makes the militia way more proactive - they'll build up a fleet and periodically attack any adjacent world that's hostile to them.  But if you conquer their planet, they'll dispatch their Vichy forces to your aid against your enemy.  They're not strong enough to annihilate your enemies on their own, but they provide a lot of welcome help.

It really adds a lot to the game to have various minor factions either causing you trouble or helping you out.  Previously, the game was very static and predictable.  Having a nice little bit of chaos helps keep players on their toes.

I remember seeing that arcade game as a kid. The various forms your hero could take seemed really awesome back then.

Picked up an early access title on Steam called "Shattered Throne." The basic mechanics are similar to my old childhood favorite, Advance Wars, but with a depth of gameplay that requires you to really think about each move.

Basically you've got three factions, each with three commanders. There's the Divine Empire, which is very focused on brute force and resilience. Then there's the Fae Court, which uses fast movement and long range to corral enemies into a kill zone. Finally there's the Dark Cabal, which uses cheap undead units for suicide attacks to spread curses, while more wraith-like units wait in the wings and gain strength from all the death. The commanders of each faction shakes up the play style, adding even more variety. Want to play a more speed-oriented Empire game? There's a commander for that. Want to do a Fae zerg rush? There's a commander for that.

The only downside is that the character art is pretty ghetto at the moment, and the game graphics are very plain. The dev says he intends to improve these once he's satisfied with the game's balance, but until then it's just a promise.
