I still manage to stream Netflix shows in HD somehow.
Netflix recommends 5 mbps for HD.  Pulling that off with 3 is pretty amazing.

Still better than my 3.
Also, these are upward speeds. Back in the days of dial up, upward and downward speeds were the same. These days though, download speed is much more emphasized because that's what most people rely on. People who wants to broadcast and upload videos are a small minority.

Has anyone ever played Banished? It's basic building. The most politcially correct game ever I guess and a bit weird as much as the genre goes.

This is a great game. Browser based.

Kind of like a murder mystery game you would play at a party. Free too.

I haven't but it looks like the type of game I would enjoy if I can get it on sale.

World of warships is quite addictive.

Yeah, I like it, though it's 80% sailing/positioning and 20% action.  But it's all worth it just to sail between two enemy ships while firing lethal volleys of torpedoes from port and starboard.  Or broadsiding a destroyer and simultaneously incapacitating its engine, a torpedo tube, and one of its deck guns.  Or being a cruiser with great AA and escorting a battleship plagued by enemy aircraft.  :)

The multiplayer experience is kinda weird.  Most people are silent and sail off in random directions.  There's a lot of "cannon vision" - focusing on targeting/damage-dealing to the exclusion of all else.  I've seen lots of people inadvertently torpedo friendlies that way.  Had to dodge a lot of friendly torpedoes fired 14km away from the enemy but 4 km away from me.  :(
