"How well would you say you follow orders?"
"Follow...orders??  Yeeah...we don't do that."

The football one I hear a lot before the game is "we have stick to what we do best and be who we are". When they are down by 4 touchdowns at halftime, well maybe it is time to try something else, LOL.

I really thought the Forty-Niners would win the game, but I didn't have any money riding on it, so I just enjoyed some good football.

Dear Nintendo, you did a good thing reviving the video games industry after its collapse.  But you're a fossil with antiquated ideas actively harming your own business and making you less competitive in the long term.  I sincerely hope Palworld and other directly-competing games knock you off your pedestal until you remember why you got there in the first place.

QuoteMedieval Latin pirata "sailor, corsair, sea robber" (source also of Spanish, Italian pirata, Dutch piraat, German Pirat), from classical Latin, from Greek peiratēs "brigand, pirate," literally "one who attacks" (ships), from peiran "to attack, make a hostile attempt on, try," from peira "trial, an attempt, attack" (from PIE *per-ya-, suffixed form of root *per- (3) "to try, risk").

An Old English word for it was sæsceaða ("sea-scather"); a pirate-ship was a ðeofscip ("thief-ship").
I gotta admit, I like pirata.  Very catchy.  And "thief-ship" is growing on me.  And sea-scather sounds cool, but no one except Supcom players understand "scathe" as a verb, so that's unworkable.

As for the clothing, it's like 99% exactly what you'd expect to see on a normal sailing ship.  Very practical - dare I say piratical - for the time.  Just normal seamen.  Black Bart was a special case - known for his scarlet silk coat and waistcoat (hence the French nickname, le jolie rouge)  Blackbeard was also a special case - known to enhance his image to the point that he could be compared to a wrestler walking into the ring.  All an act to frighten others into submission, of course.

The dungeons in Morrowind were and are scary AF because the ambiance was so threatening and because at any moment, something could pop out and absolutely wreck you.  And it didn't help that most of the NPCs are in the uncanny valley.

Daedra ruins -> generally not a problem
Dwemer ruins -> the hum of the machines kinda creeps me out but it's not too bad
6th house base -> code red.  Get in and out quick!
Ancestor tombs -> nooooope x1000.  Especially if skeletons and ghosts are partly clipping through closed doors (afaik, sometimes they can open doors...)

Not great armor, but excellent ventilation, very roomy, no blind spots, low cost per unit, and 0% chance of ammo explosions.  Also, eco-friendly!
