I've got to be honest, while they have done wonders on turning he to she, and she now looks pretty dam good.. the voice still sounds like a mans.

And don't get me wrong here, I've known transgendered people, an old friend of mine was a female to male trans, and he managed to have not just physical alterations into a man, but his voice sounded like a mans, maybe a little more high pitched, but certainly a mans voice. I say this because when we first meet, I had no idea he use to be a she, and it amazed me how good work they did on him.

Don't get me wrong, I think its great Caitlyn can now be herself. It reminds me of porn star buck angel.



Yes, she had surgery and became him. Pretty amazing. Though if you heard his voice its kind of like at an inbetween stage of development, which I suppose is one of the harder things to adapt in such transformations.

End of the day though, its what makes people happy and so they can feel like themselves.

So Bruce Jenner is on the cover of Vanity Fair as a transgender woman. That takes balls.

No seriously, it does take balls. I watched the Katie Couric interview or whatever it was and I was first and foremost struck by what an unbelievable douche nozzle Bruce was. Of course being a colossal douche is not all that unusual for a celebrity of that caliber. But the other thing that struck me was that Bruce/Caitlin really is one brave and strong son of bitch. Our society is more tolerant and accepting now than its ever been, but its still a huge fuckin deal for a celebrity of that level to openly come out as a transgender woman. This is really good thing and she should be proud. She's still an unbelievable douche but she should be proud.

Also I've decided that if I ever win the lottery, I want to get Annie Leibovitz to shoot my drivers license photo. If anyone can make me not look like a hideous troll on film, its that woman.
