That or it's language that is prohibited on television and, the woman at least, cares about keeping her job. Should it be allowed on television? Yeah, probably. But the list of words that aren't allowed to be said on the t.v. go back long before "liberals" were even part of the national dialog, much less the du jour boogieman. Same reason we never hear "fuck", "shit" or even "tits" on the news... George Carlin covered it years ago, and it goes back more to our puritan roots than anything else.

I would assume that is why the guy was surprised as well, but I would hardly call, "Could you not use that word on my show" being triggered.
