I have a quick comment.  PLEASE learn the difference between "your" and "you're."  I know you can do it, as evidenced hyah:

QuoteYour ceasing to exist, you're finally reaching the point that you were bound to from the beginning.

That's not an insult, it just makes you seem unintelligent.

Other than that, you make a lot of assumptions (about atheists being scared to die and seeking purpose) which you fail to support.
He thinks too much; such men are dangerous.

I feel sorry for you that your life is so shit! I'm loving mine! It has a great deal of purpose while I'm here, and that's enough for me. I've changed my mind, I don't feel sorry for you. You waste time worshipping - better you than me.
Q for theists; how can there be freewill and miracles? And, how can prayer exist in an environment as regimented as "gods plan"?

You could stand to learn what a paragraph is.

As to the issue you right, what is the point of living if you cease to exist at the end?  Life-long atheists don't seem to have a problem with this.  Atheists who were once theists often do. I do.  To me, it sucks that every thought I have will vanish.  But, there isn't anything I can do about it.

(See, that is called a paragraph!)

But, even if you are right, and your God does exist, you should want death to come as soon as possible too!  Why live on this shitty fuck planet?  What possible use will what you said and did today have to you a billion years from now in heaven?  Why would you give the slightest fuck about your life on earth then?  Why not just die now and get on with your eternal bliss?

(That is another paragraph. See how that works?  It isn't too hard!!!)

Further, my paragraphs point out what stupid shit your wall of text really is. (This is called a conclusion.)

Oh great, another drive by "read my blog" post by a Xian.

QuoteBut as an atheist, why are you so scared of the end? Does it feel like your soul is too significant to end?

If that sounds ridiculous that's because it is.  You've got it backwards though. Atheists aren't the ones making up magical beings to take us away to wonderland after we die because our souls are too important to end.  I don't know of any atheist who even believe in a "soul" however you define it.  No soul, no gawd to save us from staying dead after we die.  You might want to reexamine your fears.  You might be projecting here.

Thanks for reading the post, and thanks for all your feedback guys! It's really appreciated.

It's a shame you feel so depressed.

For myself, I don't really fear death. I don't look forward to it, but, I don't fear it. It happens to everyone, so why worry about something inevitable? In the meantime, life is a party. Enjoy yourself in whatever way you prefer; whether its with family or friends or the new family and friends you make while you are alive.

I'm kind of a loner, but, I like it that way... I don't feel lonely. I get to see some amazing people when I choose to go out of what I call "My dungeon" (only because it's my art studio I work from and I lock myself in there for weeks at a time)

In terms of purpose? That is the beauty of being atheist and not thinking a supreme being has a "plan" for you. You make your own purpose and no one owns you. (well, some would say the government, but that's a different story)

I hope this somehow cheers you up a bit. That blog seems really depressing and no matter what you believe, I hope you feel better.

If you want, you can do what I do when I feel down about something and watch Lil BUB videos.

I'm not exactly sure they will make you feel better, but they always do the trick for me.

Solitary

Our purpose in life is to perpetuate our species. So what? I can't now and I don't need a purpose, why would I? Why is that such a big deal? I'm happy always, happy I'm alive, and when I'm not, happy it will end sooner or later, so I'm always happy.  :P  Solitary

That's enough of that.  "Read my blog for Jay-sus" has been banned.

You added paragraphs!  Yeah!

Of course you ignored my salient point, that if you are right, and there is a God, you should want death too.  What point is life on this shitty rock?  What value will your actions today hold for you in a billion years?

Further, you miss the most obvious reason why atheists prefer to be alive than dead.  It is a biological drive known as self preservation.  That, and when I'm dead, I won't be able to fuck girls.  That is also a biological drive, but, one that I don't mind having.
