Not really.  And 85% chance of winning, is that given 100 trial elections of the two candidates (what torture that would be), Hillary would win on average, 85/100.  Such statistical masturbation ... doesn't deserve detailed comment.  My candidate has a vanishingly small chance of winning, and I am fine with that.  What you are talking about is odds making in British betting parlors where everything and anything can be bet on.  Hillary might win by an excess of 5% or 10% of the vote ... that is entirely different statistically (that is for one single trial, not multiple trials of the same election).

Yeah, I was thinking there must be some kind of math that could translate 85% points of winning into winning by X% points, but I wasn't sure, and wouldn't of been able to figure it out anyway.

No candidate, nor election, has scared me the way this one does. It's not so much Trump, though, it's the Republican party, and what they could ruin, given a President at this point in history. In my lifetime, we will not recover.
