Back then, my mother did try the many shades of platinum hair colors ;-)  I suspect those ladies must be using frames and hairpieces and a whole can of hair spray.  Must have taken forever at the parlour to assemble that mess ;-)  I like the scene in "Georgina" where she is drunk at a party and catches her high wig on fire from the candle candelabra.

I do Halloween costumes every year, and I've never done drag, but I considered doing that character because it's just hilarious. I decided with my body type I couldn't pull it off and did Wolverine instead.

I have done drag for Halloween multiple times, but any non-burlesque costume would show TMI ;-)  I applaud the choice of Wolverine.

Yes! I was thinking of using a hoverboard but then I considered my widowed husband would have to explain that I died careening down the boulevard in a beehive and gown. I don't want my death certificate to say "Cause of death: Wardrobe malfunction."
