Some first names are head-scratchers--Hundreds of those.  Some not so bad--or even common--first names are fine until that are paired with the last name--from my HS days--Ima (that's an okay first name) Hogg; Harry Rumph; Walter Stain.  What's wrong with some people--hated their kids in advance????

How about a carpet layer named Walter Wall? 😉

Back from when I used to watch NASCAR- Dick Trickle. Early in life, through life, near end of life, Dick Trickle. Dayam.

Then again (my boomer is showing) Moon Unit and Dweezil. Later stuff like Apple. OK, pics have to be in your head, for these.

Couple years old, but that's funny.

The batcave also violates zoning ordinances and building codes galore.  Speeding, unlawful imprisomment (when Batman personally abducts perps), and unauthorized access of police records.

And don't get me started on the Batman credit card, which requires bare minimum identity fraud and falsified financial statements.

Well, yeah... he´s a ´vigilante´. How is this perplexing? That´s like, lesson one.
There is a reason why in the stories police tend not to like vigilantes and see them as criminals. They operate outside of the law and by default act in a manier that is not in full accordance with it.

I know it is a joke, but... are there really people only now coming to the realization that  Bruce is driving around uninsured and illegaly hacking into police databases?

It's an otter sleeping in a human bed, presumably living a human lifestyle, so yeah the joke is that it's having weird thoughts.

Yeah, me too.  He was one of my little brother's friends.

This is kind of dated since it's not as much of a hot-button political (not scientific) issue as it once was.

But a decade ago, it pretty much went like this:

"You see, there are little genetic changes in a group of critters every generation and these changes pile up and lead to some pretty big divergences over time."

That makes perfect sense.

But say the e-word and people think you're saying that an individual animal "decided" to mutate itself to be "better" despite the "obvious fact" that critters were initially as diverse as they ever would be and subsequent changes merely represent some sort of spiritual-physical degradation.  That makes sense, right?

Fun fact: I currently have three jars of crushed red pepper in the pantry.

I anticipate either a pizza bonanza or plan on making one hell of a bath bomb.

The Bat Signal was operated by the police, so they had co-opted Batman. And Bruce doesn't need insurance.
We 'new atheists' have a reputation for being militant, but make no mistake  we didn't start this war. If you want to place blame put it on the the religious zealots who have been poisoning the minds of the  young for a long long time."
