Interestingly enough Joe Walsh also covered that song I posted below. I guess he was a fan of Ravel. I read this was a tribute to his little girl who was killed in a crash.

I've seen so many movies these past couple of years.  Do I know anything about them beyond plot holes and a couple of forecasting blunders?  MAYBE!

The movies in question are almost all decades old and set in military situations where women are not likely to be present (warships during the age of sail, submarines, etc).  That and Lord of the Flies, which is of course an all-boys class so it makes perfect sense that there's no women.

This article is supposed to be engender disapproval, but honestly, it makes sense why they are the way they are.
