I actually like marine isopods.  :/

Just don't do an image search on them because there's an image that's just a collage of them and I'm pretty sure it's a memetic kill agent (an image so jarring for human perception that it can kill the unwary) You see one in isolation and you think "that's a really weird bug!" and you see like 12 more with slightly different bodyplans and it's like looking into the ark of the covenant.

Those marine isopods remind me of trilobites.

So yeah, why do we have HFCS drinks instead of cane sugar?  I mean, the Caribbean is right there.  And Brazil is the top exporter, iirc.  Just saying, if Mexico can do it, we can do it too.

Also, now I'm curious about what German Fanta is like.

I've never cared for Coke. Maybe I'd like Mexican Coke better. 🤔

I have this very detailed trilobite fossil in our curio; picked up from an online fossil hawker like 20 years ago. We also have a 3-inch Spinosaurus tooth and a 5.5-inch megalodon tooth I got from a diver from the Savannah River. I like to fondle them and ponder on the circumstances when they were alive.
