If I drank beer, I might not be the world's most interesting man, but I can tolerate a Heineken or a Guinness.

You think these beers will elevate you to germany's standard of beer? Fine. So when is your country going to rise above that and make good beer? :p
We single handily beat the Germans in the war of 1812 when Jesus and Ronald Reagan stormed the beaches of Normandy. Now, with our micro breweries, we are defeating the krauts once more.

Some people need to be beaten with a smart stick.

I've mentioned before that I sometimes have a hard time understanding what you're saying Baruch.
This seems to be one of those instances ;-)

American beer; tastes like real beer, only someone drank it once before.
You have the right to believe whatever you like. However, the once you publicize it as fact, you will have to answer a few questions.

Best American microbrew IPA I've had to date: Bell's Two Hearted Ale

These stouts aren't sweet. Well chocolate one is... not the oatmeal one though or the milk stout. It's just a super heavy and filling beer. On the other hand, I really don't like hops... IPAs aren't something I like...at all.

Here are another couple I like.

And the milk stout

There are good microbrewed beers in the US. But the mass produced stuff is canoe beer.

I used to tend bar in a place that sold an Irish beer called Harp.  I recall that as being very good.  We also sold Gunniess Stout, which I thought was undrinkable.  Some of our customers liked it, however.
