OK, I did suspect it might be something along those lines.  It's like why waste your time reading Shakespeare, when nothing is more wonderful than the Bible.

That was the Orthodox Rabbinic view circa 200 years ago ... nothing a Gentile ever wrote or will write, including science, is worth reading.  You see this in the emphasis on yeshiva in a movie like Yentl.  Of course in that culture, only rabbis were literate.

Really? I quite like the direction they took with it. Working the dragon into a movie version is pretty difficult, and often film adaptations will just leave it out entirely.

I believe in original Nordic belief, that dragons refer to the aurora borealis.  Did anyone like the Thirteenth Warrior version of Beowulf?

Why do people talk so much shit about Taco Bell killing your stomach or burning? I have never had it give me any issues... it is extremely mild food.

(Of course my fam fixes alot of traditional Indian food and people say the same about it... I think you people's just have weak stomachs :o)
