Hello again

Hey everybody,

I was a member since april '14 but have been offline from AF for I think over half a year now.
And on that note I should apologize. Not because I think I'm such a worthwhile person that me being here enriches the forum, or anything like that.

I apologize to Shiranu, because right before I left we were having a discussion about wether or not we were living in a rape culture. He offered me an argument with a source and I said I'd go through it and get back to him about it. However, was it because I didn't have the time or because I didn't use my time apropriately, I never got around to it. After a few days I kind of felt bad posting on AF instead of going through the source (still on my laptop as we speak). So I decided back then that if I had the free time to be on the forum, I could just as well use that time going through the source. Which is why I stopped posting. However, I still didn't get around to it... Kept not having time, or forgetting or being tired or... Excuses... Sounds kind of stupid saying it like this, I know. But still...

So, I'm sorry Shiranu. There is a good chance you don't really care, maybe you do, I don't know. There is a good chance you don't even remember.  But I do feel bad about making promises I don't keep. So I'm sorry. Maybe I'll get around to it some day. (As I said, I still have it on my laptop.) But I don't know if and when. 

What jogged me back to AF were the Paris-bombings/attacks... I just got the overwhelming urge to see AF again after them. I don't know... It's not like I can't talk to friends and family about stuff like this. And it's not like I'm traumatized or anything... But I do feel an unease and constant agitation. It's a weird sensation... I don't know, I just wanted to come back online, see some familiar usernames and see what they were up to.

So yeah, I'm back and glad to be so. If you guys don't mind.

The poem is obviously French ... but I couldn't translate Ridenau ... a proper noun perhaps?
