Yeah, I met the band on a small reunion tour around 86ish in Melbourne Fl in a large banquet hall of the Rialto. It was a private invitation only and they did about 4 sets and a small greet and drink afterwards. Nice guys. Loved their stuff.

3 Dog Night happened when I was in the Navy. A lot of "purist" rock and roll types dissed them because they weren't like legit, or something. But "Joy To The World" Shambala" and other songs are still tuneful and joyful, which is the whole point. Yeah, he'll be missed.
