Hey, it's Canada, ey? I just wonder if I can get the Canadian Human Rights Court to reorganiz andd promote,  you guessed it....TOOTHFARIANISM...
Somehow though I have a hunch this is a typical political hack job by some right wing "news" organization.

FORCING PRAYER is a problem, not this. Different sects in school should be allowed for greater diversity of happy people. Pure secularism is too idealistic as things are now, so let's just give Islam this win. We'll convert them later, M'kay? M'kay.

But.. but.. but.. if we can't force religion on people, we're being discriminated against :(

The story here says nothing about pushing prayer onto other students, only a desire to congregate and pray together.

Perhaps I should make an individual post for my "religious" ideals, anyone interested? I never really did explain much in my intro XD

What part of secularism is not understood by people? Secularism is not an ideal like religion, it is being realistic. No body is stopping them from their beliefs or religion, only their not being special from everyone else. Trying to make everyone happy is an idealism, and not very realistic. What's next at the school? Wiccan rituals, Hindu rituals, Pagan rituals, Buddhist rituals, Catholic rituals, Satanic rituals, and finally the Tooth Fairy Rituals, and they all sue if they can't!  :wtff: :wall:

So why do you think the Muslims should be an exception by doing it in school hours and classes?

My belief is that every hot guy should strip off and engage in raunchy gay sex on the spot. Maybe I should put that into practice and say it's my right to have this.

Wait... that's what's happening? Then I object to this bullshit! The time of day matters damn it! XD

Canada is probably different from the US ... more civilized.  In the US, after school use is allowed under law ... but not during school.  But as an American, I have no power over what Canadians choose to do.  In England as I understand it ... ethnic religions can have their own academies and receive partial support from the government ... something I couldn't stand in the US ... the partial government support.  Bad enough we have secular (Republican) charter schools that get partial government support.
