So I have been sort of morbidly fascinated with the Duggar family recently. I am watching a new episode of their TV show that revolves around the wedding of their daughter, and it's so appallingly sexist that I can't look away. But I digress.

I noted the church where they got married, and Googled it to read about it and their pastor, Dr. Ronnie Floyd.

According to their website, Dr. Floyd has led Cross Church to:
-Invest in missions
-Invest in pastors
-Invest in laypeople
-Invest in hurting people

Apparently Dr. Floyd did not invest in grammar and word context.

A cynical habit of thought and speech, a readiness to criticise work which the critic himself never tries to perform, an intellectual aloofness which will not accept contact with life’s realities â€" all these are marks, not as the possessor would fain to think, of superiority but of weakness. -TR

Faith: pretending to know things you don't know

More like truth, given the Duggar's loud anti-gay efforts.

 :rotflmao: Why do these religious nuts look like they are insane?
There is nothing more frightful than ignorance in action.

Insane!? Just because they believe that some Middle Eastern dude (who miraculously turned blue-eyed blonde Aryan at some point) and who died FOR THEM and who lives in the sky loves them SO MUCH and guides them and has a plan for them and takes the wheel when he needs to?

HAHAHA All they had to do is add the extra word 'helping' and it would be correct and in-context. Poor guy lmao
