Please do an intro thread like we expect you to do. We like to know what we are dealing with when people come here.

Informal debates are just that, informal.  People will interrupt and butt in every so often.   It will feel like you're being tag teamed.

My advice is be respectful and don't assume we know anything at all about what you believe or why you believe it.   We'll ask for a lot of clarification and references.   

We've also got a handy flow chart knocking around here about how a basic debate works.  I'll dig it out.

It's a social agreement.  We like talking about stuff, and to do that we abide by a certain set of rules worked out amongst ourselves. It makes the exchange of ideas easier.
