Not funny.

i agree.

i mean, its not the subject matter being too sensitive... its just that the added text doesn't make it funny.

maybe something like:
"Kop Kirra!"
"Someone's having a case of the Mondays"
"Breaking positive Asian racial stereotypes since 2007"
or
"The cure for Yellow Fever"

then ,maybe, MAYBE.. it woulda been funny.

I can't think of a way to make that pic funny.

I'm with Moloth on the Cho pic, and I go with "Someone's having a case of the Mondays" as the winning slogan of the ones listed.

Anyway.

OMG, cucumber-flavored Pepsi!  And it made Yahoo Japan's front page news today!

I like the "case of the Mondays."

and breaking positive asian stereotypes....but I thought I was doing that! :P

How about "Blazin Azn"?  I find it kinda weird that on another forum, CET thinks jokes about that baby that was microwaved by his crazy father was funny...but we need to be SERIOUS here.

And only because I have always believed the best way to move on is to make fun of it (and it is lame to act offended):

:rollin:

And by the way, I used the Godzilla pic in a first-year English class today.  I made a color printout of that (among other pictures) with Godzilla cropped out on one side, and the full picture on the other.

I intended it to go like this:
QuoteME: What's this?
STUDENTS: ????
ME: Here's a hint.  "Fune" in English is "boat."  Once more, what's this?
STUDENTS: IT'S A BOAT!
ME: And?
STUDENTS: ????
[I flip over the pic]
[Students scream "GOJIRA!" and general hell breaks loose]
How it actually went was more like this:
QuoteME: What's this?
STUDENT: Godzilla?
ME: Huh?  No, no, this. [pointing at the boat]
SAME STUDENT:  / I'm pretty sure it's Godzilla. /
ME: Anybody else?
ANOTHER STUDENT: / Jesus? /
ME: / Oh, hey, that is Jesus isn't it? /
[Everything falls flat after I go through the "It's a boat" rigmarole]
I thought I was doing a good enough job of hiding the back side of the pictures. :(
