Hello, my name is Deidre...and I post also on another atheist forum. I've noticed this site last year, and thought why not join it, too. :) I was raised in a Christian home and spent most of my adult life catering to the religion. I don't judge anyone who chooses to remain in it, but after MUCH research and soul searching, decided that I'm more comfortable being an Agnostic. I've chosen this line of 'belief,' because I don't believe any of us knows for sure, logically or otherwise, if a Deity exists. Agnosticism is often a misunderstood position, so if you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them. I used to think completely differently about Agnosticism until the path naturally led me to it.

Look forward to discussing things here, and supporting anyone who needs it.

Welcome aboard. Just joined last week myself. Although everyone is great here so far and I seem to fit in well. They can be relentless with religious folk though from what I've read through. Typically justifiable.
