I think it's used on cake and pastries... nope. I was thinking of confectionery sugar.

I download / stream all my videos. And I use adblocker in my browser, so I don't have to see any.

Yeah, seriously. Flo is adorable. The commercials I hate the most are pushing penis pills or some other medication. Why on earth would I want to hear about some old guy who can't get hard? Gross. Pharmaceutical companies have no business marketing directly to the masses, and the practice should be banned like it is in much of Europe. Car commercials are also extremely annoying.

I don't have TV at all.  It doesn't interest me, and the commercials are about 50% of my aggravation.  When I click on a Yahoo news article (most of which are crap anyway) and it turns out to be a video with a 60 second commercial you have to watch, I click my way out right away and don't watch the news item.

I understand that much of this so called service is dependent on profit, but much of the internet is about blasting users with ads first, and actual useful information as a secondary goal.  I'll accept advertising to an extent, but at some point, when it becomes the dominant theme of the site, I move on.

I don't want to feel like someone is trying to manipulate my behavior for monetary gain.  It's crass and offensive to me.

I was at my parents in law this weekend, so I actually watched some TV. There were commercials. Fortunately my internalised ad-blocker kicked in so I don't remember a thing about any of them.

I also quietly installed adblocker on their PC to block out the rest of the advertisements as well. When they figure it out, they'll probably thank me for it.
