I was 10 minutes ahead of her.  My first thought was that Christians accept the mythicist position, as long as you grant them the special pleading that their god isn't a myth.

I disagree with her that there are 3 positions, theist, atheist and mythicist.  Mythicists are atheists.  She can't really be claiming that Jesus is a myth but she believes in God.
Afflicting the comfortable for 70 years.
Science builds skyscrapers, faith flies planes into them.

The most current god always seems to be the real god, while the previous gods are obviously just products of vivid imaginations and ignorance.  It's like new fashions that appear on the runway.  You want to be up to date?  Then you must accept the new stuff, and not be caught dead in the old stuff or you're going to look awful silly.
