I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt because they're not actually advocating for the extermination of Atheists. This may be misguided optimism

It's as insane as any religious garbage.  "We're being persecuted by atheists".  Same complaint, different bullshit.  (One of the few sites to use Jastrow in that context, though.)
