Friend of mine, philosophy major, lived with the hare Krishna for a few days. Was supposed to stay there for an assignment for 3 weeks. He pulled out early to retain his sanity.

I laughed, thinking this was some sort of advanced sarcasm (non-contradictory accounts LOL), but then I remembered that lots of people really are this simple-minded.  I'd call it a squandering of intellect, but in many cases, I'm not entirely sure that's the case.
