London (CNN)Police have charged 52-year-old Thomas Mair with the brazen killing of British politician Jo Cox.

Investigators are now looking into whether Mair -- who is described by neighbors as a loner -- had ties to right-wing extremism.

Cox, a member of Britain's Parliament, was killed Thursday in a brazen attack on a street in her district in northern England.
"We have now charged a man with murder, grievous bodily harm, possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence and possession of an offensive weapon," West Yorkshire Police's Detective Superintendent Nick Wallen said.

Details have begun to emerge about Mair, who has subscribed in the past to publications by white supremacist and pro-apartheid groups.
Cox was stabbed and shot in Birstall after a meeting with her constituents in an attack that has shocked a nation known for its strict gun laws.

Cox, a 41-year-old mother of two, was an avid campaigner for the rights of refugees. Her death comes a week before the so-called Brexit, a crucial referendum on whether Britain should stay in the European Union, and she was an open supporter of remaining in the bloc.

This happened last week, and not a peep.

Let's stop and think, inconvenient as it may be, the shit storm that would ensue if the shooter was a radical Muslim, or a leftist who killed a right wing politician... page after page after page condemning all Muslims or left leaning people as being guilty of a hateful ideology that pits one against the other.

But funnyly enough, when it's a white nationalist who murdered a woman, who assassinated a MP, for the exact same reasons that certain posters on here say, and other talking heads we subscribe to say, will bring about the fall of western civilization and they must be stopped at any cost because it's us versus them...

Silence. He was mentally ill. He had nothing to do with us. Radical nationalism, radical xenophobia that we preach means either they have to die or we will die... how could you ever hold our hateful rhetoric and ideology accountable? That only matters when it's people we disagree with!

Her blood is on your xenophobic ideologies hands, people who agree with this right ring fear mongering trash. I hope you are proud and the humour of you being condemned for extremists actions in the name of your ideology, when you do the exact same thing, isn't lost on you.

If you were in an alien culture teaching about American culture, you could do it with taking that^ sentence and following the concepts one by one used, through what they actually are, but turned into what after what circumstances and conditions. Actually, it would be a very good lecture explaining what they are not.

Personally, I am curious about if there is an aspect of Left -left in real sense- an average Right-wing opinion cannot find 'totalitarian', let alone Americam Right-wing understanding.

Or what is this pre-modern liberalism -if there is a modern one, there has to be something before- which is not 'libertarian' enough for right-wingers in a certain country when all the politics is based on some imaginary understanding of freedom and civil rights and a mass of people who actually thinks they have those rights and that they work?

What is this that neeeds to be 'liberated' that right -wingers do not find it 'libertarian' enough in their right-wing system.

Liberty:

1. the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one's behaviour or political views.
2. a right or privilege, especially a statutory one.

US is commonly right-wing. Population between extreme right-wing and right wing. If you are not an extreme right wing, you are a sensible, probably secular citizen. Can even be called 'lefty' in some occasions according to the region or a 'fucking commieee'. The State and government come extreme right wing in default. It's the right wing itself.

Americans or Westerners in general are sure they are in no way oppressed. They deny that it exists in any level. I mean the real life...forget about all kinds of SJW groups, they are 'regressive left'.
