Title: Hello, My Name Is [User Name Here]!

Hello, my name is TrooperFive but you can just call me Trooper. I live in the Republic of Cheeseistan and I work for the Illuminati. My life goal is to become a Narwhal one day. With all that aside, I've actually been reading these forums for a while now(about a week). I was actually raised in such a way that I was never taught any religion(or atheism for that matter). I just kind of looked at the evidence and decided that religion was bullcrap, but science made lots of sense. But I'm not sure that anyone would choose Christianity unless it was taught to them from an early age.

Whatever happened to puppets, dummies, and ventriloquists?  Growing up I had Paul Winchell and Jerry Mahoney, Hoody Doody and Buffalo Bob, Edgar Bergen and Charley McCarthy, Señor Wences (who never had his own show, so he only appeared on rare occasion on the Ed Sullivan Show), and no doubt others almost forgotten.  Today they have Muppets.  Hell, even their name tells you right off, they're not real puppets.  Their just hand puppets, which were what the poor kids got for Christmas.  I asked for a puppet, you know, the kind operated by strings, and all I got was this stupid hand puppet.  Sheesh!  What a joke.  Then along came the Muppets, and everything went to Hell in a hand basket.

As I frequently do, I responded quickly without paying much attention to the post.  Just went back to SGOS's post/video and noticed it was Senor Wences, not Jerry Mahoney.  Guess I didn't learn something new.  So who the fuck WAS Jerry Mahoney?
