I think you are giving people too much credit. 

I have a running joke with my daughter when we talk politics.  It is simply amazing, for example, that women will vote for any Republican, since Rep. seem to take such keen interest in what goes on inside women's bodies, and yet do not want them to control what goes on there.  It seem s according to Rep. women are not smart enough to control themselves.  Yet they get voted into office time and time again.  Stupid Fucking Americans.  So, when my daughter hears 'SFA' she knows exactly who I am referring to--those that keep voting idiots into office time and again.  SFA's seem to populate this country in great numbers and seem to be growing.
