I suspect everyone's God is merely a reflection of themselves.

I would agree many, most or nearly all theists project themselves (or how they view or wish to view themselves) upon their imaginary friends.  This would help explain many behaviors theists exhibit, such as cherry picking, use of logical fallacies, disingenuous quote mining, lack of curiosity, avoidance of facts, reciting apologetics, lying for Jesus (or some other important sky fairy), among others.

that is why the babble conveniently proclaims, "let us make man in our image"  it ain't arrogance…it's pure luck that god looks like us.
A humans desire to live is exceeded only by their willingness to die for another. Even god cannot equal this magnificent sacrifice. No god has the right to judge them.-first tenant of the Panotheust

Well, I'm certainly not perfect. And I would likely have destroyed the earth rather then try to save it. So you should be very thankful, God isn't like me.

No, Nipper, you are wrong.  I very much wish you were exactly like your god.  You see, your god is a fiction--and having you be a fiction would be good.

I find that Atheists have no real facts concerning how life originated anywhere, let alone here. And if you want to consider liars, disingenuous, lack luster curiosity, avoidance of facts, and regurgitation of science fiction theory, then just speak to an evolutionist/atheist regarding the possibility of Creation.

Every human being knows what life is ... but nobody understands the story of origination.  Too many gaps.  If we can someday visit distant planets with life forms in early stages of development, we might learn more in comparison.  But until then, we claim more than we know, because we have ideology.  But religion is all ideology, it isn't free from the defects of materialism, religion compounds these defects with group-think.

My God isn't fiction, because I care what happens to you. Being godless you've proven over and over that you wish I never existed or that I'd simply drop dead and go away.

That doesn't make me better; however, it does indicate that we are not walking the same path.

The problem with evangelism is the arrogance.  The Buddhists were the first evangelists.  People who think they know G-d ... are arrogant.  People who think that their way of knowing G-d is the one true way ... are arrogant.  People who think that while they are following the one true way to know G-d, and are the best at it ... are arrogant.

Arrogance = pride, and pride is the #1 sin.  Don't be too sure where you will end up.  Because I care about you too.

Religion without God is pointless. While I do not understand or fully comprehend how God created life, I know that it was created and is expressed through human creativity (in God's image). All thought processes have defects and that is because humanity is presently imperfect.

The Bible states, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. It also states that for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosesoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. I never said I was the better than anyone or even a very good Christian. I simply have faith that my imperfection is covered through my faith in Jesus the Messiah/Christ. And that EVEN my faith is a gift God bestows and not something I achieved.

Buddhists are very nice people and so are Mormons. But they believe in earned merit (the epitome of arrogance). And I believe in saving GRACE (unearned merit). By grace are you saved and not by works so that no one can boast.

Yes, I am godless; thank you for seeing that.  So are you, only you persist in your fiction.  That's really okay with me.  I don't wish you dead.  I do wish your religion was dead.  And I do wish your religion would leave me alone to live my life as I see fit.  You have your 'moral' (which I view as being very immoral, even evil) world view.  And you can keep it.  Just don't try to impose it upon me.

And you are correct that we are not walking the same path.  You are free to take your path as you see fit; you do not have the right to force me onto your path.  As for  making you better--that is up to you, but you seem so brainwashed and blinded by your 'faith' that I just don't see how you can get better.  You have a form of cancer of the brain and I'm afraid it is fatal.  That is especially sad in that you have the cure for that brain cancer in your grasp; use the critical thinking that you learned in school and you could be cured.  Several posters to this forum have done so.

This is an example of the Christian's extreme need to never say, "I don't know", as if saying that is an admission that you're wrong.  NOBODY has any "facts" about how life originated.  You have beliefs, science has theories, nobody has "facts".  The truth is neither one of us "knows" how life began.  The difference is that intelligent people willingly admit when they don't know something, unintelligent people make something up and call it a "fact".

Most atheists I know freely admit that creation is a possibility.  They just don't see it with your version of creation.  I am pretty damned sure there are no giant fairies in space so intensely interested in my life that the bearded boy used to watch me every time I jacked off at 15 years old, meticulously writing down my every maneuver so that I could eventually be judge on it.  I am PRETTY sure of that.  But I cannot be absolutely certain.  I have no proof that it isn't true, so I have to admit that it's a possibility that Jesus was real, attended Hogwarts and was intensely interested in my sex life when I was a 15 year old boy but is no longer since I'm in a long-time, opposite sex, monogamous relationship AND have a social contract with that woman obtained from the government to make our relationship official.  But unlike you, I'm willing to accept when there is evidence for OR AGAINST what I believe.  The earth is not 6,000-10,000 years old.  It's just not.  There are SO MANY ways of dating rocks and artifacts that we know this without doubt.  And there was never any global flood.  Archaeologists have located the site of the flood in the Bible (and they DATED IT to the correct time using their imperfect dating methods) and it was a localized event.  I'm not going to believe your made-up version of things simply because there is no evidence-based version of things.  Instead, I'm going to say, "I don't know".
This sentence is a lie...

Nipper, since you still haven't answered my other question, here's a new one that I'm sure isn't too threatening to your brainwashed mind: Is morality moral because God says it's moral, or is morality objectively moral, no matter if God says so or not?
