Worked great for both Christianity and Islam ;-)

Sure, and look at all the evil that created, along the other moronic religions like Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and so on. They started as a joke, still are, but the members take those seriously, deadly seriously. Fuck that.

IMHO ... Christianity is a mocker of Judaism with Buddhism thrown in.  Islam is real Judaism 2.0.

Of course Buddhism is originally a mockery of Hinduism ... but it had legs outside of India.  Hinduism is still surviving Iron Age paganism.  Hinduism is relatively tolerant sect vs sect.  But they aren't tolerant of people who are outside the caste system (including Buddhists and Gandhi).  We don't have very good evidence how any religion started ... but it is easy to imagine.

Who cares which religion comes from what religion. It's not a question of religion being a joke, because it is a fucking joke, it's that the members of religion take it seriously, and for some, deadly seriously. Religion is a cancer, and very dangerous. What do we do with the members? I'm all for castration.

And Jainism precedes Hinduism. Jainism is a mostly pacifistic religion, which explains why there aren't too many Jainists around. Buddhism is touted as a pacifistic religion, with the exception of that Shao Lin/Thai machete swinging thing.

Interesting how religions capable of violence seem to be more populous than pacifistic ones.

Human nature manifests both the inner monk and the inner warrior.  Just say no to Bushido.

There is a very old conspiracy theory trying to explain islamic spread with Jewish support against Christianity. (Muhammed's mentors being Jewish and similarities flamed it within the usual Jew paranoia I guess.) Jews did it! If you consider there are people who believe you guys burried the fossils...

Like Von Daniken ... that the Egyptians couldn't have built pyramids without alien help?  It really is an insult to Arabs, to say that without Jewish Arab assistance, the Muslim consolidation of Arabia or subsequent expansion into the Fertile Crescent and Egypt ... couldn't have happened.  The Byzantines and Sassanids had something to do with that.

But another insult is the idea that Jews are the ultimate Fifth Column ... we are always ready to betray our majority Gentile population.  Though sometimes we did ... like in Palestine in 1914.  Personally I think Jewish settlers chose the wrong side ... but since so many of the Aliya folks had European culture ... it isn't surprising.  Of course perfidious Albion betrayed them too.
