I'm offended by that buzz phrase that caught on about 10 or 15 years ago, and it won't go away.  Political pundits are constantly saying "Look..."  Like the verbal bucket of slop that follows is important enough for you to buy into."  For some reason, it has a condescending quality about it like, "Look, this is important, and I'm going to correct your thinking, which I see is all fucked up."

My inner response is, "Hey asshole, I'm already listening to you.  Just make your pitch, and I'll decide if I want to continue listening to you, or not."

Great video. It really is more challenging to empathize with other people, see their perspective and try to understand why they are offended rather than just discount or argue.
