Chinese naval jets armed with missiles have executed training drills over disputed waters near Vietnam in the South China Sea in an apparent response to what Beijing sees as provocation by the U.S. in the region.

Torpedoes are wicked bad. They have one now that travels at excess of 50 knots and doesn't actually hit the ship- it detonates directly beneath the ship and effectively breaks its back. It can take out an aircraft carrier or other capitol ship. They also have SLCMs and other sub launched ordinance that is deadly accurate. Imagine sitting there on watch and all of a sudden a spout of water shoots up in the distance and 30 seconds later you are 50 feet in the air after your ship ceases to exist. And that is just the shit they talk about. We are also apparently becoming energy weapon proficient. That be some warfare right there.
