Both parties are zombies, but the Democrats are only more cerebral, because they eat more brains ;-)  In Texas they eat calf brains ... moo.

Don't do that.

We got sheep brains locally. Extrapolate on that. Ba-a-a-a.........

Why doesn't anyone eat politician brains?  Because they don't want mad political disease.  There are parts of the animal you don't want in your food supply, like their cow patties for instance!

The Republican party has a fundamental, and probably not unintentional, misunderstanding of the law.  They are the party of spin.  Literally EVERYTHING they scream about is spun to hell and back.  That's half their problem.  They've put so much spin on every issue they hold close they've actually gone back in time.  The Supreme Court "setting laws", that's just spin.  The Supreme Court has interpreted the 14th Amendment to apply to every level of government, the same as the others.  This has been slowly happening with the Amendments for a very long time.  That's why Wyoming can't outlaw Catholicism within their borders and Chicago can't outlaw guns within theirs.  One by one the amendments have been interpreted to apply to all levels of government.  That's all that happened with marriage equality, and it's the same thing that happened with Dread Scott.  Yes, the Supreme Court ruled against him.  And then new law happened, invalidating that ruling as applicable to law today.  I wish I could say that anyone who doesn't understand this very simple concept is not qualified to hold any form of office outside his church in the small Whitey County town of Sister Fucker, Arkansas, but the 14th Amendment provides even mentally deficient people like Huckabee equal protection under the law.
This sentence is a lie...

You got that right.  Law is ultimately determined by the constitution, not tradition.  Big difference there.  Many conservatives seem to think that traditions that have discriminated for years are somehow rights that are protected by the constitution.  It's amazing that such incorrect unconstitutional interpretations have endured as long as they have.
