Below is the extensive list of worries I have about the Dugger family

I'm sorry. I can't think of anything else.
Well, they've started this cycle of geometric progression because they have 19 kids, and now their kids are starting to have kids, and they don't have any income anymore. That sorta concerns me. In a few generations, they will fill the earth.
Maybe their church will take care of them.

I don't understand what is so unbelievable about this for you guys. A lot of those dating sites need a payed membership to work best, so it's not that big of a surprise. Even Plenty of Fish and OKCupid work best when you have a premium account.

We already heard how Josh Duggar molested a bunch of people, so this isn't nearly surprising. Too good to be true? I don't even think it's that much of a big deal for someone to have an account with Ashley Madison for it to be "too good to be true"... so that point is moot with me I guess.

At some point, maybe it was a year ago, that some study revealed shocking news on Muslim-dominated cultures. It turned out that they, who couldn't stand the sight of a woman's naked face, much less her bare arms or any other part not covered up are the largest consumers of online porn per capita. Therefore, the most sexually repressed Christian cultures could not be far behind...errrr...behind. :-D
There are two types of ideas: fact and non-fact. Ideas which are not falsifiable are non-fact, therefore please don't insist your fantasies of supernatural beings are in any way factual.

Doctrine = not to be questioned = not to be proven = not fact. When you declare your doctrine fact, you lie.

A lot of religious people hide behind religion as though it will serve as a protective shield against their wrong doings. Or that no one will suspect them of wrong doings. Or believe them. Catholic priests got away with that mentality for a long time. The truth is, the Duggar family is deeply troubled and lost. And when there is so much repression, control and dysfunction under one roof due to radical religious beliefs, the end result can be frightening.

I guess I really just don't care  about the Duggars.

I don't care about a lot of things lately.... I wonder if I'm moving to a phase of existentialism...
Eh. It doesn't matter.

A "family values" campaigner is a complete and total hypocrite?

I'm shocked. SHOCKED! THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE IN THE HISTORY OF EVER!!!

It is very much not unbelievable to me. It's poetic justice since he was a professional bigot before all this broke.

We 'new atheists' have a reputation for being militant, but make no mistake  we didn't start this war. If you want to place blame put it on the the religious zealots who have been poisoning the minds of the  young for a long long time."

Any way to fact check this?

You mean besides for the admission of guilt by the piece of shit in question?

Yeah, I don't believe anything the publicity hound says.

Yeah, I don't believe anything the publicity hound says.

The released records include 2 separate accounts with credit cards in Duggar's name with billing addresses associated with the Duggar family. Could they be fake? Yea I guess so. Could they be fraudulent as in identity theft? That's possible too. But with the credit card information coupled with the admission I see no reason to doubt if he had accounts with the Ashley Madison service. Be skeptical if you want, but there's a difference between skepticism and denialism.

I think this is sort of important because it is unbeliavably in the open and...lol it couldn't be more perfect. If we consider there is a great amount of people who support these kind of families, public figures it is always a good thing that they go down like this.
"his philosophy was a mixture of three famous schools -the cynics, the stoics and the epicureans-and summed up all three of them in his famous phrase, 'you can't trust any bugger further than you can throw him, and there's nothing you can do about it, so let's have a drink.'" terry pratchett

I don't think I have any worries about the Dugger family themselves. My concern with them has much more to do with the fact that they are celebrities and, up until recently, earned a healthy living from being their judge mental bigoted ecologically irresponsible Dugger selves.

Meanwhile, his parents are asking for your prayers.
Why?  If I had a prayer, it's that this load of smug, holier-than-thou bigots would go down in (metaphorical) flames, and hey presto, my virtual prayer got answered!  The only thing I got left to 'pray' for is that Antonin Scalia gets caught in bed with two Doberman Pinschers and several tins of Spam, and promptly retires to "spend more time with his family".
