I'm getting dragged to see Saw.  I hate those kinds of movies, but I like watching movies with people and it's a squid-pro-quo sort of thing, so hopefully it's good.

"A Haunting in Venice". Poirot v. ghosts. One of Boss Lady's favorite characters. Beautifully done, I miss Venice.

Watching "a discovery of witches" mini-series this week. Awesome so far. It is so cool when you see a scene shot right where you were standing. Happens a lot with Venezia.

When I was stationed Sicilia Venezia was one of my favorite stops. We sent monthly "shopping busses" out with bored wives looking to spend some of hubby's bonus money. I got paid to count heads off, count heads on, and call the embassy if the sums didn't match. Otherwise my time was my own.

Saw X definitely wasn't my cup of tea, but it wasn't bad.  Though I did notice a plot hole or two.  Actually, more like a plot crater.  But overall, it had a surprisingly good message.

I don't ever think I'd watch a movie like that again, but I didn't throw up.

I just watched a funny Jackie Chan movie, called Spy Daddy. Of course it was full of fun and great stuntwork, as are all of his movies.

Oh, I see that it's actually called The Spy Next Door. The channel I watched it on renames the movies, I guess for copyright reasons.

Watching "Knives Out" again. The story stands up well. With the Poirot movies Boss Lady is in hog heaven.

Damn! I was going to go to bed, but YouTube put up Nothing But Trouble, and it's just one of those movies I simply must watch! I can't help myself! 🤣

Don't think I've ever seen it, but considering the actors I see starring in it, it must be pretty funny.

Oh yeah, it's among the funniest movies I've ever seen! Dan Akroyd is the Big Boss, and he is totally insane! Only he could wear a fake nose that looks like a penis! 🍆 🤣

Jack and Rick Evans will tell you everything you need to know about this movie. Possibly the most important point is at 23:10

Hey, thanks for posting that!

I read some years ago that Chevy Chase didn't like the movie, and didn't want to make it. But I thought he did a pretty good job anyway.
And Dan Akroyd was off the hook! He played the judge, but he also played Bobo, one of the ugly diaper babies.
It's such a fun movie, I think I might watch it again today!

Rango was epic! I wasn't expecting much, but I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it!
Johnny Depp, Ned Beatty and Stephen Root were the only names I recognized, but there were a lot of others I didn't.
It was a fun movie to watch, even though it was computer animation. It was very well done! I think I can highly recommend it.  🤗

Now I'm watching one called Megamind, another computer animation, that's basically about Superman (by another name: Metroman) vs Lex Luthor (by another name: Megamind - he's bad to the bone). It's even got a Lois Lane character and a Jimmy Olsen character.
But Megamind defeats Metroman, then finds out that it's no fun being a super villain without a superhero to fight against, so he creates an adversary to give his life some meaning. But his new creation decides it's more fun being bad.
