The Real "American Sniper" Was a Hate Filled Killer

I just got back from American Sniper.  After my tirade about Clint Eastwood movies, I have to admit, I liked it.  I give it a 7.  I think Bradley Cooper is a good actor.  On leaving the theater I was happy that I didn't fall asleep or get bored, but I had no sense of American pride, nor did I feel a sense of shame for being an American (I do however hate our leaders that get us into this stuff).  It was just a docudrama about soldiers doing what they are ordered to do.  Some take to it just fine, others get messed up in the head by the experience, which is certainly horrible beyond words, but I don't honor or dishonor our soldiers.  They are just doing what they are paid to do.
