All that's true, but still a lot can happen in 2 years. Hopefully the best and brightest in the Democratic party can run and leadership will completely rufuse to back weak ass candidates willing to run from the party platforms instead of bankrolling stupid motherfuckers like they have..

The Republicans can screw up major, but with all the voter ID legislation at the state level, they've made it hard for minorities to have a say in voting. That has been ongoing for many years. A clear Democratic victory in 2016 would certainly be awesome, and it can happen with a concerted effort by voter registration groups and others. But I guarantee the parties in the background, the middle and upper management that run the government, will do their part to stop it.
