I finished Farscape a couple of weeks ago, then started in on Lexx.
I'm kinda disappointed in it, it seems pretty lame compared to Farscape. I'll keep on keeping on, though just to see if it ever gets any better.

It might have been a mistake to watch Farscape first, since nothing could ever compare favorably to it.
I was sorry to see D'Argo die at the end, but I guess it made for a more dramatic finish.

Don't you hate it when "My Three Sons", "I Dream of Genie", and "The Loretta Young Show" all have premier episodes on the same day?

I didn't know anyone still remembered My Three Sons!

Binged a show called "The Edge of Sleep" on Amazon. Markiplier is the star actor in the show, and he's a better actor than I thought. Fortunate, given he's directing, editing, and starring in a movie called "Iron Lung" soon. The premise of the show is that people are suddenly dying in their sleep all over the place, and no one knows why. The survivors try to figure out what's happening and what, if anything, they can do about it. All the while, fighting off the urge to sleep, losing their ability to function the longer they stay awake.

For reasons completely unrelated to the upcoming election, I plan to rewatch the Babylon 5 episodes where Bablyon 5 fights the Earth Alliance under "President" Clark.

Watched the first episode of 'a small light'. Incredibly well acted. Great scenary and composition. Would recommend.

Have also been watching 'twisted metal'. Piqued my interest due to childhood nostalgia. More of an acquired taste? Not going to be for everyone.
But if you are in the mood for reallydumb, post apocalyptic action comedy: give it a go. First two episodes was very touch and go, something hooked me but i wasn't convinced, but it picks up.

Just looked at the trailer for Twisted Metal, and it looks pretty good, with a lot of action.

So I just watched the first episode of BoJack Horseman. I know I'm late to the party, but I finally decided to take a peek at this thing I keep hearing about and that has episode breakdown video essays recommended to me.

And I don't feel any need to watch episode 2.

I didn't see anything wrong with it. In fact, it's better than some shows. I tried watching Tuca and Bertie and it was such an ADD-inspired mess that I had to shut it off because it was making me sick. This wasn't bad, but I cannot fathom why anyone needed to watch another episode of this. Granted, this was just the first episode and some shows take a couple episodes or even seasons to get good. I guess if it happened to be on when I had time to turn on the tv and channel surf, I would watch more, but to actually choose to watch it? No. I don't really have anything better to do and I'm still not interested in watching any more of this.

I've just learned it does get better later. That's nice. Doesn't change anything for me, though.

I finally finished watching all 4 seasons of Lexx. The first 2 seasons were kinda lame, but I stuck with it, and it did get better in seasons 3 & 4.  Episode 18, "The Game" was the best episode, in my opinion, because I like chess, and this game had the pieces yammering away at each other and the players! 🤣
I still think Farscape was better, though.

On episode 4 of 'a small light'.

Tragic show. Please don't misunderstand.
But i did chuckle at them misrepresenting sinterklaas as a modern day christmas.
But, concidering, i can understand them either not getting such a small detzil right or not wanting to go into the sinterklaas holiday due to it's more "problematic" tendencies.

My memory is very hazy, but I believe there was some sort of overarching plotline with a water planet and a fire planet, and it involved Malcolm McDowell.  It was surprisingly interesting for a basically D-list show.

QuoteI still think Farscape was better, though.
Not even in the same category.  Like a funhouse and a rollercoaster.

So, decided to finish the netflix atla series which i'd lost track of for a while.
It has always been 'not as good' and a tad frustrating to watch if you know anw love the original.
But, on the whole, i never, i think, said it was actually 'bad'.
Episode 6, masks... well, i had to take a break. The pacing, the charactarization of roku, the acting, even the dialogue ... i hope the second half is better. But i really had to pause it, because it is just really bad.
