In Scottish terms, a red door means a mortgage-free home, which lends new meaning to the Rolling Stones and this video re Vietnam and ultimately Iraq and probably soon Isreal;

It’s a strange myth that atheists have nothing to live for. It’s the opposite. We have nothing to die for. We have everything to live for.

Listen, Big Deal, we've got a bigger problem here. Women always figure out the truth. Always.

See, though, we have our old school, and our old MexiCAN school. But do we have old...The Rollins Band? Because that's, apparently, SUPER old fart stuff? ::blank stare::

Which is, apparently, also as old fart as....the Beastie Boys?  What?

Although, incidentally, the version of Boom-Boom you probably know was begun by Big Head Todd and the Monsters, via more than one Adam Sandler movie. BHTatM version of the John Lee Hooker hit can be found here and features who else but JLH himself:

BHTatM did not get much headway regarding live concerts, a lot like Grateful Dead or Phish, but had just as much live foot traffic as either one of them did.

I've never heard this version before... I like the original better.

Me too, absolute art work definitely, but the newer one has its virtues, too. It must, I sing it in the shower...

Have you Googled John Lee Hooker yet? If not, please do.

Until then I give you a 1966 beauty you might already can sing along to but didn't know it was this guy yet:

The Americana enthusiast in me is enjoying this thread right now.

Some old school Americana...

Some "new school" Americana...

And some Central American Americana flavoured music...

Why I popped into this thread, though, was to remove these things so I can go to sleep. What, it's 3am! I have to work (the day after) tomorrow!

Another song I see the video of every time I hear it:
https://youtu.be/WM8bTdBs-cw

But that just brings up how this one, same artists, is the opening credits of Zombieland. Which isn't a bad thing, but now 5am looms because I have to watch a movie:
